5/3/2025: Shapeshifters make themselves known.
8/4/2028: A treaty is signed. From sea to shining sea a 15 ft high, 8 ft thick, steel and brick barrier keeps the two new countries separate. In the south the humans create the Combined Human States, made up of all states from the west coast to the east coast south of Colorado, including most of California and all of Latin America. The rest of the former US and all of Canada belong to shifters as The Federal Nation of Therianthropes.
